tip me Global UG enables our users to give tips to the workers behind the products offered, in support of fair globalization. tip me provides partners, such as us, with a script, which we insert on our product pages. This script displays three options for the amount of the tip and a selection element, as well as other information relevant to our users. Through interaction with the displayed module, information such as IP address, browser type, date, time and product information is collected and stored anonymized on tip me's servers for internal, statistical evaluation purposes. If you place an order, tip me has access to your personal data and your orders, regardless of whether you use tip me's services. In order to process the tips given by our users, tip me stores information such as IP address, browser type, device type, an anonymized ID, interactions with the interface, date, time, session duration, frequency of interactions, order ID, net shopping cart value, tip product ID and selected quantity, payment status, and product information within the orders placed. The "tips" given by customers constitute a gift, as they are added voluntarily by the customer without any corresponding consideration. The tip does not give rise to any claim for consideration of any kind. It is therefore not subject to VAT. Tips are not defined as donations and therefore cannot be declared to reduce tax liability.
